Sentry’s mission is to deliver true representative sampling and analysis techniques to customers worldwide, empowering them to accurately monitor and measure processes for improved production efficiency, output, and safety.
History
In 1925, Sentry Equipment began as The Henszey Company, a primary supplier of dairy/power plant components and milk evaporators. In 1959, the name was changed to Sentry Equipment Corp, and the structure was refocused on efforts toward sampling products and specialty heat exchangers for the power generation industry. This refocus led to the expansion into other sectors. Sentry is known worldwide for its engineering expertise, with installations in 50 states and over 55 countries.
In 1986, company ownership was transferred to the employees through the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Today, the company is 100% employee-owned, and our employee-owners
participate in making continual improvements to our products and processes.
Locations
In 2002, Sentry made its first product line acquisition, and over the next several years, it continued to acquire several additional lines and small companies. Due to the acquisitions and organic business growth, Sentry expanded to a new site and building in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where the headquarters is currently located. Sentry also has locations near Houston, Texas, and West Jordan, Utah.
