What is the Emerging Leaders Program?

Designed for those early in their management careers, this program aims to cultivate leadership skills, foster innovation, and collaboration, and instill a strong sense of belonging within the PEMA community.

Who may join the Emerging Leaders Program?

  • Early-career managers or those in supervisory roles identified as emerging leaders within PEMA member organizations.
    • Demonstrated commitment to the powder and bulk solids industry.
    • Able to foster innovation and collaboration.
    • Must commit to attending up to three in-person and three virtual learning sessions, as well as six virtual, one-hour group roundtables.
  • Companies may nominate more than one participant; however, representation across multiple organizations will be a priority.

About the Emerging Leadership Program

The PEMA Emerging Leadership Program is designed to assist member companies as they develop future manufacturing leaders.

The 12-month program consists of the following:

  • Four in-person and two virtual learning sessions, plus six virtual, one-hour group roundtables.
  • Session One – The PEMA Introduction, kicks off the program the night before the full Fall Meeting program begins. The program includes the Fall Meeting Sessions and a special session on the last day of the Fall Meeting.
  • Session Two – Personality Profile
  • Session Three – 360 Review Process
  • Session Four – Management Finance Session
  • Session Five – Leadership Session
  • Session Six – Strategy Formulation and Implementation Session

Program Size

Each class is limited to up to 18 participants to maximize engagement.

Program Investment

For a program fee of $1,600 (excluding meeting registrations and travel expenses), a PEMA member company can position its emerging leaders to thrive and contribute significantly to your company’s success and the PEMA community.
